Dion Serra, AIA
Director of Operations, Principal
I chose to pursue architecture as a way to better the lives of building users. Education buildings can positively affect someone for years, if not their whole life. I enjoy the process of interacting with the people who use the buildings we design. Working with community groups and stake holders is very rewarding and leads to critical evolution of our work. Discussing or visiting our work or others’ work affirms positive decisions, while staying critical of a better approach, to be better. The culture of McGranahan is huge for me. I resonate with the people I work and collaborate with on a daily basis and appreciate our approach to a balance between work, life, and professional relationships.
